Why AI Content Misses
Your Brand Voice
AI writing tools only know what you tell them. Without a shared, up-to-date brand profile, every draft starts from zero.
The Same Briefing, Every Time
Company description, audience and tone get pasted into every prompt, and someone always forgets a detail.
Brand Knowledge Lives in Heads
Positioning, USP and competitors sit in old decks and Slack threads, so new writers and freelancers guess.
Generic, Off-Brand Drafts
Without a defined brand voice, AI copy sounds like everyone else and has to be rewritten line by line.
Hours of Manual Setup
Writing a brand guide from scratch means reading your own site, interviewing stakeholders and filling in a template.
Scattered Brand Assets
Logos, colors, style guides and approved snippets are spread across drives, so the right version is hard to find.
Agencies Juggle Many Voices
Switching between clients means switching mental models, and one client's tone easily leaks into another's work.
One Brand Profile,
Generated From Your Real Data
Open Brand Context for a property and SERPView builds the first version automatically. You refine it, and it stays ready for every article you generate.

Frequently Asked
Questions
Everything you need to know about Brand Context in SERPView.
Brand Context is a brand voice profile for each property in SERPView. It holds your company description, ideal customer profile, USP, author persona, audience, brand voice, competitors, content pillars, logo, colors and brand resources in one place, and AI Content Generation uses it for every article.
When you open Brand Context for the first time, SERPView generates it automatically. It reads your top 15 pages by clicks from the last 28 days of Google Search Console data, finds your sitemaps through Search Console and robots.txt, and crawls your homepage plus up to 12 important pages such as About, Pricing and Services. An AI model then drafts the profile from that data. Links you add on the Website tab are crawled when you re-vamp.
Not for the first version: the automatic generation and the competitor search run on SERPView's own key. To re-vamp the profile later, you use your own API key (OpenRouter by default) and can pick the model. If no key is saved, SERPView asks you to add one.
Yes. Every field is editable. Text fields like the about text and USP are free text, and audiences, brand voice, competitors, content pillars and suggested tags are tags you can add or remove.
SERPView checks your robots.txt before crawling. If crawling is not allowed, it skips the page crawl, marks the site as blocked, and works with your Search Console data and sitemaps instead.
SERPView looks for a logo on your homepage, then falls back to your favicon or social sharing image, and collects up to 8 colors from your page code. You can upload your own logo (PNG, JPG or WebP up to 2 MB) and edit the color palette.
Files in PDF, DOCX, TXT or MD format up to 5 MB, and text snippets with an optional title. Use them to keep style guides, boilerplate and approved copy next to your brand profile.
AI Content Generation adds your company name, about text, USP, author persona, audience, brand voice, content pillars and competitors to every article prompt. Your default writing preset also takes its tone of voice and target audience from Brand Context.
Yes. Export the full profile as a Markdown file to share with writers, clients or other tools.
