Google Analytics 4 Integration

Google Analytics 4 Integration
Next to Your Search Console Data

The SERPView Google Analytics 4 integration links a GA4 property to each Search Console site, so sessions, users, engagement rate, events and revenue sit one tab away from your clicks and rankings. No second login, no separate GA4 report builder.

Why Search Data Alone
Only Tells Half the Story

Search Console shows how people find you. Google Analytics 4 shows what they do after they land. Keeping them in two tools makes every report slower and every answer less complete.

Two Tools, Two Logins

You check rankings in one tab and traffic quality in another, often under different Google accounts, and lose the thread in between.

Clicks Without Outcomes

A page that gains clicks looks like a win until you see that its sessions barely engage and never convert.

GA4 Reports Take Setup

Building a simple landing page or channel report in GA4 means explorations, comparisons and custom dimensions every time.

No Context on the Chart

A traffic dip in GA4 has no notes about the release, migration or campaign that caused it.

Client Reports by Hand

Agencies copy GA4 numbers into slides next to Search Console screenshots, then do it again next month.

Limited History

GA4 only keeps data for a limited time, so year-over-year questions run into gaps once older data ages out.

The Google Analytics 4 integration puts GA4 traffic and engagement next to your search data in one dashboard

Your GA4 Data,
Inside Your SEO Dashboard

Link a GA4 property once per site. SERPView reads it through the Google Analytics Data API with read-only access and builds the reports for you.

Property Discovery

SERPView lists every GA4 property your linked Google accounts can access. Search by name, pick the one that matches the site, and unlink or switch at any time.

Five Core Metrics

Sessions, Users, Engagement Rate, Key Events and Revenue as metric cards and a daily chart. Toggle each metric on or off and switch between smooth, linear and step lines.

Landing Pages, Channels, Countries, Devices

Sortable tables for landing pages, traffic channels and devices, plus a country map or list. Switch any table between Popular, Growing and Decaying.

Period Comparison

Use the same date picker as your Search Console data and compare the selected range with the previous period to spot what changed.

Filters and Notes

Filter by page, country, device or channel with exact, contains or regex matching, and add notes to the chart to mark releases and campaigns.

Export and AI Questions

Export the landing page, channel, country and device tables as CSV or PDF. Switch the AI Copilot to GA4 and ask about your traffic in plain English.

Ask the AI Copilot with GA4 selected, for example which countries had the highest engagement last month.

Frequently Asked
Questions

Everything you need to know about the Google Analytics 4 integration in SERPView.

It connects a Google Analytics 4 property to a Search Console site in SERPView. The site then gets a GA4 tab with sessions, users, engagement rate, key events and revenue, broken down by landing page, channel, country and device.

Open the GA4 tab for a site and click Connect GA4 Property. SERPView lists the GA4 properties available to your linked Google accounts. Search for the right one, select it, and the dashboard loads. Each site links to one GA4 property.

Read-only access. SERPView requests the Google Analytics read-only scope together with the Search Console read-only scope when you link a Google account. It cannot change your GA4 settings or data.

You can link several Google accounts to SERPView. Property discovery checks all of them, and the GA4 tab shows which account email the linked property belongs to.

Sessions, Users, Engagement Rate, Key Events and Revenue, shown as totals and as a daily chart. Below the chart are tables for landing pages, channels (Source / Medium) and devices, and a country map or list. Each table can show Popular, Growing or Decaying rows.

Yes. The GA4 tab uses the same date picker as the rest of the dashboard and can compare the selected range with the previous period. You can filter by page, country, device or channel using exact, contains or regex matching.

Reports come straight from the Google Analytics Data API and are cached for 10 minutes, so you see what GA4 reports with only a short delay.

Yes, with Extended Storage. When a site has an Extended Storage slot and a linked GA4 property, SERPView saves daily totals for sessions, users, engagement rate, events and revenue and keeps them for up to 5 years.

You can export the landing page, channel, country and device tables as CSV or PDF. The AI Copilot has a GA4 mode for questions about your traffic, and MCP clients can query GA4 data through the SERPView MCP server.

Yes. Once your GA4 property is linked in SERPView, the Google Search Console MCP server also gives Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor and other MCP-compatible AI agents access to your GA4 data: sessions, users, engagement, conversions and revenue by landing page, source and medium, country or device. You can ask about GA4 and Search Console in the same conversation.

The GA4 tab is part of the SERPView dashboard and is not a separately gated premium report. Keeping GA4 history beyond GA4's own retention needs an Extended Storage slot for the site.
