What is DA and PA, and why do you check them separately?

Domain Authority scores the whole site. Page Authority scores one URL. Both are 0-100 Moz metrics that predict ranking power. Checking them side by side tells you whether a page earns its rank from its own links or rides the domain's overall authority.

DA and PA are the two Moz scores every SEO has open in a tab. Domain Authority predicts how a root domain will rank across the board, while Page Authority predicts how a specific URL will rank on its own. The two are correlated but not identical.
